How We Calculate Total Journey Time

Flight time is not journey time. Real journey time includes:

1. Taxi/rideshare to departure airport (with luggage)
2. Check-in and bag drop (minimum 45 minutes domestic, 60 minutes recommended)
3. Security screening
4. Gate wait and boarding
5. Flight time
6. Deplaning and baggage claim (often 20–35 minutes)
7. Taxi/rideshare from arrival airport to final destination

For a private transfer, journey time is literally: picked up at your door → delivered to your next door.

Flying (door-to-door):

• Taxi to AKL: 45 min
• Check-in + security: 60 min
• Flight: 45 min
