Hamilton Airport (HLZ)

• Services: Domestic only. Connections from Christchurch, Wellington, Palmerston North.

• Services: International (Australia direct) and domestic.

Part 2: The Bike Transport Question

Every IRONMAN athlete arrives with a triathlon bike. The bike is packed in a case that measures approximately 130 to 145 centimetres long and weighs 18 to 30 kilograms. This case does not fit in a standard sedan, a taxi, or most ride-share vehicles.
